In response to one of my previous posts, I'm going to give both FeedDemon and Newsgator a try over the next few weeks. I'm also open to other aggregators, if anyone wants to give suggestions. I'm currently using Sharpreader, and while it's a good aggregator, it lacks some of the features that I'm looking for. I'll be posting the results and a review of my favorite when I make the decision on which one to purchase. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts, as well.
To start, I've downloaded the trial for Newsgator and have configured it with my feeds. So far, the integration with Outlook, which is done well, may not be the thing for me. It is definitely something that I need to get used to, since Sharpreader is a separate application. The difference is subtle in terms of usability, but it's taking me longer than I thought to get used to it. I do like the fact that Newsgator is written in .NET, and I like the fact that there's a plug-in for posting to my blog available.
