Erik Lane has
recently posted
about several of the reasons why he likes JetBrain's
ReSharper utility for Visual
Studio .NET. My new job has provided me with a license for ReSharper and
while I've only been using ReSharper for about two weeks, I can already see
the benefits of the utility. As Erik indicates, the highlighting is helpful in
making the code easier to read. I've also found the auto complete feature to be
helpful, as well as the code analysis indicators. It does take a little longer
for a project to load with ReSharper installed, but only by a few seconds on my
laptop. Read
Erik's post for
a more thorough review.
