About Josh

Welcome to my blog! My name is Josh Evitt, and I'm currently a senior content developer for Boson Software. Previously, I was a developer on the Microsoft Team at Kaplan IT, which produced the two top certification exam simulation brands at the time Transcender and Self Test Software, where I focused on the MCAD/MCSD product line. I was with Transcender for over five years, and during that time I wrote on a variety of topics and technologies, such as Microsoft .NET, Windows 2000, XP and 2003, Cisco, Oracle, Java, and Novell. I've also recently worked as a .NET programmer/consultant. Before joining Transcender in 2000, I was a Network Administrator/PC Support Technician for a manufacturing company.

I've recently completed my first published book: MCTS: Microsoft Windows Vista Client Configuration Study Guide: 70-620.

I hold the following certifications: MCTS: Vista, Client, MCSD.NET, MCAD, MCSE on NT/2000, MCP+I, SCJP 1.2, CNA, i-Net+

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing guitar, programming and riding my motorcycle.
